What It Takes to Make Care Easier

Over the past several months, our team has been preparing for one of the biggest changes we’ve made at Emediate Cure: moving to a new electronic medical record system.

Amy and I have been putting in a lot of hours each day and getting a lot less sleep than we’d like. Honestly, some days this has felt harder than opening a new clinic. Then again, we love opening clinics—and you never know when or where the next one might be! For now, we have our hands full with training, new equipment, hundreds of decisions, and all the little details that go into changing a system across our locations.

So why take this on?

Because as technology changes, we want to keep finding better ways to care for our patients and support our staff. Beginning October 1, our new system will make it easier for patients to get started with a visit and to access results afterward.

You’ll still be able to pick a time online or simply walk in. Registration will look a little different: you’ll receive a text with a link to enter your information and take photos of your ID and insurance card from your phone. If you need help, our team will be there to walk you through it.

Our staff means everything to us, too. We want them to have tools that help them work smarter, make their days easier, and give them more time and energy to focus on the people in front of them. They have spent months training, practicing, asking questions, and helping one another prepare for this change. Amy and I couldn’t be prouder of them.

I want our patients to know that we would never make a change like this just to add one more task to your day. We know you may be feeling sick, worried about your child, or trying to fit a visit into an already busy schedule. We believe this will make your experience easier, from registration to getting your results after your visit.

We’re excited—and, if I’m being honest, a little scared. We love our patients and never want you to feel inconvenienced. Even after months of preparation, there may be moments during our first week when something takes an extra minute. If that happens, thank you for your patience, and please let us know if you need help.

Emediate Cure is family owned. The technology may change, but the warm welcome, the listening, and the care you receive from our team are at the heart of who we are. Thank you for trusting us and for growing with us.
