Shorewood Urgent Care
Our All-Ages Urgent Care in Shorewood opened in 2024, made possible by the incredible support of the community we have proudly served since 2015. As families embraced our care and trusted our mission, it allowed us to grow in a meaningful way — opening two locations exactly one mile apart. While this is one of our newest clinics, it already feels well-established thanks to the committed patients and families we have supported for nearly a decade through our original Shorewood location.
Shorewood is not just where we provide care — it’s where we shop, dine, worship, and raise our families. Our owners’ children attend local schools and church, and our roots in this community run deep. This all-ages clinic was intentionally opened to complement our flagship pediatric location, ensuring convenient urgent care for patients of all ages, from children to adults and seniors.
We offer walk-in care for non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries, including cold and flu symptoms, fever, COVID-19, RSV, strep throat, sore throat, cough, congestion, sinus infections, ear infections, bronchitis, gastrointestinal concerns such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, dehydration, and urinary tract infections, as well as headaches, migraines, allergic reactions, and skin infections. Our providers also treat cuts requiring stitches or glue, sprains and strains, minor fractures with on-site X-ray services, burns, minor head injuries, work-related injuries, and sports injuries. On-site testing for flu, COVID-19, RSV, and strep allows patients to receive timely answers and treatment in one convenient visit.
Families choose our Shorewood all-ages urgent care because we are locally owned, open evenings and weekends, and focused on accessible, high-quality care. With walk-in availability, optional online check-in, insurance acceptance, and self-pay options, this location is built on the same trust, relationships, and commitment that have guided us since 2015.

I grew up in Joliet IL and graduated from the University of St. Francis with my Bachelor’s degree in nursing. After working about 10 years in the Emergency department as a trauma nurse at local hospitals, I realized the need for urgent cares in our area. I went back to USF and graduated with my Nurse Practitioner degree in 2013. After becoming board certified, I decided that urgent care was right for me. I love the variety and love meeting new people everyday. I strive to listen to my patients closely and always spend time educating my patients and their family members about their illness and how they can improve their health. Most importantly I love caring for my own community. I enjoy being involved in the community and helping to be that change for our world. I am currently involved in my state Organization as a Region Chair member. I am active with my church family and love doing mission trips when all possible. I am active with local community events and have a passion for Big Brother Big Sisters Org. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, love caring for animals, traveling (especially warm places), hiking and taking in nature.

I have an extensive background in Emergency Nursing with nearly 9 years of experience in a busy level 2 ER. I became a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2013 graduating with honors from University of St. Francis with my MSN. I have since worked in the urgent care setting treating patients of all ages with a wide variety of illnesses and injuries. I’m a DOT certified medical examiner, and X-ray certified limited license technician. I love that each patient I see is different and my days are never boring or routine. I learn something new everyday and continue to grow as a provider. For fun I like to spend time with my husband and three children. We love boating, water skiing and cheering on the Chicago Cubs!
