Clear Pricing. No Surprises.
Good care should come with a clear price. At Emediate Cure, we offer three simple self-pay prices for urgent care visits when you pay in full on the day of service. Your provider will explain which tier applies to your care.
We are proud to care for the families and neighbors who make Joliet, Plainfield, Shorewood and the surrounding communities home. Whether you are feeling sick, dealing with an injury or bringing in your child, you can walk in and find a team ready to listen and help.
Urgent care visit pricing
$135 Basic Visit
For urgent care visits, we collect $135 at check-in. Your provider will explain which visit tier applies to your care, and any remaining balance will be due at checkout.
$185 Visit With Testing
For an illness or injury that needs a provider evaluation and testing during your visit.
$285 Complex Visit
For more involved care, such as laceration repair, injuries requiring an X-ray, STI testing, or other procedures.
No Surprises.
Clear Pricing With No Guessing.
Your provider will explain which of these three visit tiers applies to you. Physicals, vaccines, injections and other separately priced services are listed below; they do not require an urgent care visit tier.
For a non-emergency illness or injury, urgent care may cost less than an emergency room visit. If you think you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911.

Questions About Insurance Or Self-pay?
We accept many insurance plans. If you would like to use insurance, check your plan benefits before your visit, especially for school physicals and immunizations. Our team can help explain your payment options.
Same-day self-pay prices apply when you choose to pay in full on the day of service. Once a claim has been submitted to your insurance plan, it cannot be changed to the same-day self-pay price.
Services We Don’t Bill to Insurance
Although Emediate Cure accepts most major insurance plans, we are not a primary care provider. Certain preventive services are “Self-pay” only. We understand if you want to use your insurance for these services, and encourage you to schedule with your primary care provider or pediatrician. Services not billed to insurance by Emediate Cure include Sports Physical, Vitamin Injections, Administrative / Pre Employment physicals, DOT physicals, and drug screens.
Insurance for School Physicals and Immunizations
Although Emediate Cure accepts insurance for required school physicals and immunizations; not all insurance plans cover these services at an urgent care facility. CIGNA, United Healthcare, and Medicaid all require patients to be seen at their primary care provider or pediatrician for these visits. If you choose to be seen by Emediate Cure and have the above listed insurance plans, you will be offered the “prompt pay” pricing in lieu of using your insurance. All other patients should call the customer service number on the back of their insurance card to verify coverage prior to visiting Emediate Cure for a school physical or immunizations.
